I suppose that the Philippine Health under President Duterte's administration would have the time to answer the following question: Cover ba ng PhilHealth ang Dugong isasalin sa ina na bagong nanganak as one of PhilHealth benefits?

Isa sa aking kapitbahay na buntis ay isinugod sa Trece Martirez City General Hospital province of Cavite last December 29, 2016. Sa awa ng Maykapal, siya ay nanganak na normal, pati ang baby ay normal. Subali't ayon sa doktor kailangan salinan ng dugo ang ina - 4 bags of blood ang kakailanganin. Pero kakailanganin ang tao o mga tao para mag donate ng dugo na katumbas sa apat na bag na galing sa blood bank section ng nasabing hospital.
At 12:30 PM December 31, 2016, ang ama ng nanganak at ako ay sumugod sa Trece Martirez City General Hospital willing to donate our blood plus yong ama ng baby na nandoon na sa hospital nagbabantay sa asawa niyang bagong nanganak kasama ang biyenan niyang babae.
At 1:30 PM dumating kami sa nasabing hospital at agad naming hinanap ang kinaroroonan ng pasyente at hanapin narin ang mga hospital staff na nakakaalam patungkol sa blood donation - ang nangyari po closed po ang department nila dahil po holiday, ang resume ng work ng taga blood donor section ay sa January 5, 2016.
Ang nangyari balik kami sa admin section at doon I suggest na puntahan ang blood bank section at makiusap na salinan na ng dugo ang bagong nanganak. Sa loob ng opisinang yon aming napag-alaman na may dugo naman pala na available - pero bakit pinatagal pa nila na puwede naman pala salinan ng dugo ang bagong nanganak? 
Bakit ginamit ng hospital ang gayon sitwasyon para mangalap ang pasyente ng blood donor? Samantala ang dugong isasalin sa kaniya ay may bayad pa rin na nagkakahalaga ng ph1,800 per bag x 4 = ph7,200 for 4 bags of blood. 
Yes. I am very willing to donate my blood dahil nadarama ko na it was an emergency call - pero nanlumo ako upon knowing that the hospital has used the situation just to look for blood donors - tapos sisingilin ng hospital ng ph1,800 per bag of blood ang pasyente. Ang Trece Martirez City General Hospital ay government hospital - pero sa nalaman ko I can say there is "corruption".
Ang inang nanganak ay isang active PhilHealth member - under the Duterte's administration Cover ba ng PhilHealth ang Dugong isasalin sa kaniya? Anu-ano ang mga benipisyong matatanggap ng isang member ng PhilHealth na mother who has just delivered her child on a government hospital?
Kung may time po kayo a 15 seconds na dasal para sa mag-inang nasa hospital pa at doon na maaabutan ng bagong taon. Salamat po.

6 Days Courting, on The Seventh Day, I Married My Wife: Today is Our 30th Year Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 30th year wedding anniversary but my wife has already gone with the Lord on July 24th of 2015. With our three loving children, We are celebrating the day remembering her.

30 years ago, my first encounter with my wife Imelda started on December 3, 1986. I started courting her that day and on December 8, 1986, I got her approval to marry me. We brought our plan to her parents and it was approved. Also that same day, we contacted our chosen sponsors and we were advised to see them in the morning the next day at Trece, Martirez City Hall to get the marriage license and other documents needed for the civil wedding.

Finally, on December 9, 1986 at around 9AM with the help of our sponsors all the documents necessary for the wedding were completed. At around 10:30 AM we proceeded to the office of the Municipal OIC mayor located at the second floor of the Municipality City Hall.

The ceremony was simple and very fast. It only took less than ten minutes after the OIC mayor declared, "I pronounce you Paul and Imelda as husband and wife - Paul you may now kiss your wife." Following his declaration were the wishes of congratulations and the signing of our names and our signatures on the documents with his signature and the signatures of our godparents.


Nine months after, my wife delivered our first baby boy on October 16, 1987.We gave him a name Jeffrey. However, on his 9th month on this planet, our child died. It took us for almost a year of mourning. But the good news followed when in April 1988, Imelda conceived our second baby which was a girl - she delivered her on December 5, 1989. We gave her the name Marife.

While in 1991, November 21, again we welcomed another baby girl, we gave her the name Maricar and again we received another blessing from the Almighty, Imelda has again conceived another angel and has delivered her on December 30, 1992 and we gave her the name MaryJoy. She's the last angel my wife has conceived before she expelled her last breathe on July 24, 2015.

President Duterte: I Will Go Exactly The Way I Understand The Problem

The Filipinos are lucky to have President Duterte - whose interests and dedications are merely focused for the best of the country and the Filipino people. He stands firmly and is working hard to the best of his capacity to run the country for the Filipinos to enjoy good governance and to making the Filipinos dream comes true - a country where Filipinos will live peacefully, a country where poverty, corruption, crimes, terrorisms and drugs are eradicated.

Subali't sa kabila ng lahat na nagawa ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Duterte marami pa rin bulag na mga Filipino na hindi nakakakita at nakakadama sa maraming magagandang bagay na nagawa na at kasalukuyang ginagawa pa ng ating bagong administrasyon. Sila yong mga nasa kabilang partido na magpahanggang ngayon ay hindi parin matanggap ang kanilang pagkatalo. Sila ang mga dilawan na hindi mapakali at hindi magawang makipagkasundo sa bagong halal na pangulo. They are there planning how to oust the president.

And what attracted me the most was when President Duterte said, "I will go exactly the way I understand the problem."

The Senate Inquiry Confirms Senator Trillanes 'Sundalong Kanin'

I thought it was just a joke when Senator Gordon accidentally called Senator Trillanes 'Sundalong Kanin' during the Senate investigation on ExtraJudicial Killings that took place during the months of September and October 2016.

Ngayon nangyari na naman at lalong napatunayan sa buong mundo na itong si Senadora Trillanes ay isa ngang #SundalongKanin. It was confirmed by Senator Ping Lacson nang bigyan niya ng paliwanag ang dalawang magkaibang retrato: Retrato ni Sen De Lima na kasama si Kerwin Espinosa at retrato ni Peter Lim na kasama si Pangulong Duterte na ayon kay Sen Trillanes ay puwede maging ebidensha kung tawagin niya ay 'Guilt by Picture Taking' na hindi sinang-ayunan ni Senator Ping Lacson.

Napansin ko na si Senator Trillanes ay mahilig manindigan sa kaniyang pinaniniwalaan kahit ito man ay taliwas sa tamang lohika ng pag-unawa, ipipilit niya kung ano ang idinidikta ng kaniyang isipan. Sa mga nabanggit na dalawang retrato, nakalimutan ni Sen Trillanes na bawat picture ay may kuwento sa likod nito. At kailan man ay hindi magkakapareho ang kuwento nilang dalawa.

Ayon sa paliwanag ni Senator Panfilo Ping Lacson, sinabi niya na - Ang retrato ni Kerwin na kasama si Sen Leila De Lima can help to establish a fact na there was money involved dahil na rin sa mga affidavit na sinumpaan nila Kerwin Espinosa at Ronnie Dayan - na kapwa sumang-ayon na tama ang lugar, tama na may perang ibinigay kay Dayan si Kerwin para kay Senadora De Lima at tama na nagkita nga sila Kerwin at Senator De Lima sa nabanggit na lugar sa Baguio.

Patungkol naman sa retrato ni Peter Lim na kasama si Pangulong Duterte, ang paliwanag ni Sen Ping Lacson ay ito: Walang affidavit na sinumpaan si Peter Lim na nagbigay siya ng pera kay Sec Bong Co. At wala rin affidavit na sinumpaan na nagbigay si Sec Bong Co ng pera kay Pangulong Duterte na galing kay Peter Lim. Samakatuwid, the said picture of Peter Lim with President Duterte ay hindi magagamit bilang ebidensha to impeach the president.

Natawa ako na may kasamang awa kay Senator Trillanes - ang tagal na niya sa Senado. Marami na siyang na encounter na mga taong subject for questioning, subali't sa pagkakataong ito lumabas nga na siya ay dapat mag schooling pa para maiwasan ang #KaninPaMore at sikapin niyang mabura sa kaniyang pagkatao ang katawagang 'Sundalong Kanin!'

May pangil ba ang gumawa at nagpapatupad ng mga batas natin? Gaano kagagaling ang ating mga Congressmen and women at mga Senadores sa pagiimbistiga sa kaso patungkol sa druga at pagkamal ng pera mula sa druga na isinasangkot ang senador na si Leila De Lima? Hindi na mabilang ang mga bidyong napapanood ng sambayanang Filipino sa internet patungkol sa kaso ni De Lima. Hindi na rin mabilang sa dami ng mga artikulong nalimbag sa mga nangungunang pahayagan ng bansa pati sa mga tabloids at mga blog sites. Araw-araw ang pangalan ni De Lima ay pinagpipistahan sa mga television at mga radio stations. Pero magpahanggang ngayon hindi parin napapatunayan na sangkot nga si Senadora Leila De Lima sa kasong ipinupukol sa kaniya.

Ilan milyong pera na ba na mula sa kaban ng bayan ang nauubos sa pagiimbistiga kay De Lima? Ang haba na ng panahon ang iniukol para patunayan na nagkasala si De Lima. Ang daming witnesses na ang sumalang para sagutin ang mga tanong at ang kanilang mga testimonya iisa ang kanilang tinutukoy si De Lima. Nguni't lahat ay hanggang sa pagtukoy lamang dahil magpahanggang ngayon si De Lima ay masayang nakikisalamuha sa iba't ibang grupo na kaniyang kaalyado. Ibig bang sabihin nito na sa kabila ng mga ebidensha na iniharap sa mga nagiimbistiga hindi pa rin sapat na basihan para si senadora De Lima ay matukoy na siya nga ay may sala?

Ngayon si De Lima ay nakukuha pa ring humalakhak at maliitin ang ginagawang imbistigasyon dahil para sa kaniya ang lahat ng mga testimonya ng mga witnesses laban sa kaniya ay pawang kasinungalingan, fabricated and manufactured. Ang masaklap pa pinipilit niyang baliktarin ang kuwento at ipagsigawan sa buong mundo na si Pangulong Duterte raw ang tunay na drug-protector ng mga drug-lords. At sinasakyan naman ng mga biased media networks at mga bayarang journalists.

Senator Koko Pimentel Nakikitaan ng Pangalawang Mukha: Hudyat Ba Ito ng Pagbalimbing?

Naaalala ko pa noong kasagsagan ng pangungumpanya si Senator Koko Pimentel ang isa sa mga taong sumoporta sa kandidatura ni Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa pagka-presidente. At sa awa ng Maylalang hindi siya nagkamali dahil si Duterte ang tinanghal na bagong halal na Pangulo ng bansang Pilipinas. Kasabay na nagbunyi ang mahigit na 16 milyong Filipinong botante na nagtiwala sa kakayahan ng ating butihing Pangulong Duterte.

Subali't pagkalipas ng ilang buwan ang pagkakilala ko at paghanga kay Senator Koko Pimentel ay nabahiran ng mga agam-agam. Dahil seguro ng mga nakikita kong iba't ibang pangitain na nakakapagduda. Nasabi ko tuloy sa aking sarili, ginamit lang seguro ni Pimentel ang kasikatan ni Duterte bago mag eleksyon noong Mayo 9, 2016 - para sa kaniyang ambisyong manalo sa pagka-senador. Kung dati silver ang tingin ko sa kaniya, ngayon nakikita ko siya na unti-unting kumikinang ang pagka-tanso na unti-unting binabalutan ng kalawang.

Hindi ko na iisa-isahin ang mga ipinapakita niyang pagbabago (todo depensa kay De Lima) sa puso ko at isipan ay iisa ang tinutombok nito - unti-unti siyang pumapanig sa YellowTeam na ang hangad ay pabagsakin ang kasalukuyang administrasyon. Unti-unting lumalabas ang tunay niyang kulay at sungay. Nakikitaan na siya ng pangalawang mukha na sa pakiwari ko ay hudyat ng PAGBALIMBING.

Media Hegemony in Philippines is One of The Legacies of The 1986 People's Power Revolution

Thirty-three years after the 1986 EDSA Revolution, Filipinos can clearly see its legacy such as:

• Monopoly of the Oligarchs
• Hegemony of the Media
• Mediocre life of the Middle Class
• and Eternal suffering of the poor

Sa tuwing may nakikita akong mga bata na tahasang ginagamit ng mga politiko sa mga demonstrasyon at mga rally sa kalsada - mga batang may gatas pa sa kanilang mga labi, may mga dalang mga placards na may nakasulat ng pag kontra sa pamahalaan o pag kondina sa isang tao buhay man ito o patay - biglang tumataas ang blood pressure ko at nag-iinit ang ulo ko habang sinasambit ko ang mga salitang: Ito'y "Child Abuse" at dapat parusahan ang mga taong may hawak sa kanila at pilit bini brainwash ang kanilang mga musmos na kaisipan.

I wrote this article with my purpose to educate our youths and young children and to tell them that it is not yet too late for them to distinguish the good from bad. And I hope that one day they would come to realize that they are only being manipulated by these devil politicians and some oligarchs in order to secure their own interests in the society and country.

Below are highlighted vocabularies I used in this article such as:

• Oligarch - an oligarch is an extremely rich person who is part of an elite which exercises an undemocratic, hidden form of power in order to secure its own interests.
• Monopoly - exists when a specific person or enterprise is only supplier of a particular commodity. In Economics - a monoploy is a single seller. In Law - a monopoly is a business entity that has significant market power, that is, the power to charge overly high prices.
• Elite - in Political and Sociological definition it is a theory for a small group of powerful people that controls and disproportionate amount of wealth, privilege or a political power in a society.
• Middle Class - it is a social and economic class lying above the working class and below the upper class. They are composed of professionals, semi-professionals and lower-to-middle managerial level workers.

There is a saying that "Media has a pivotal role to making and unmaking a president."

What does it mean by Media Hegemony? It is about the use of mass media to influence or control another country or a group of people by persuading them to accept their system of beliefs and to share their social, culture and moral values.

Who are the people behind the Media Hegemony in the Philippines? 33 years after the 1986 'People's Power' the hegemony of media in the country has become one of its legacy. So, Filipinos can clearly see that the people behind this media hegemony are the oligarchs and powerful politicians. And these in power ruling class achieved media hegemony through some strategies such as:

• Engineering Consent
• Story telling or Narrative
• and Stardom

What is Engineering Consent - it is about persuasion that the interest of the powerful are common sense, therefore normal or natural creating an atmosphere of less challenge and criticism that   according to Edward L. Bernays who wrote an essay which was published in 1947 called 'The Engineering Consent' claimed that everything socially is organized through psychological means.'

What is Story telling or Narrative - narratives are the dominant way we make sense of expertise and articulate our values, this is often the vehicle for delivering common sense as ideas, values, beliefs are transmitted through mainstream media.

What is Stardom - it is the fame and prestige of being a star on film, sports, etc. People of renown are used to help sell ideas and beliefs to the public through acting as fictional characters - masses can relate to or through advertising products. When people look up to a famous person they often imitate and relate to them as they see the celebrity behaving and dressing in certain ways, the masses will follow suit because they relate to the idol. This is also part of conditioning masses.

In the Philippines many of these famous actors and actresses are used by politicians on their election campaigns in exchange of money. In other words, governments, religious organizations, entertainers, politicians and oligarchs used these strategies to reach and control the masses. These strategies are what make media so influential and successful.

I mentioned earlier that media hegemony is about the use of mass media. To supplement the idea, let us define Mass Media - in simple definition, it is a diversified collection of media technologies that reach a large audience via mass communication outlets. Sample of mass communication outlets are as follow:

• Broadcast media - it transmits information electronically via such media or film, radio, recorded music and television.
• Digital media - they are Internet and mobile mass communication. Under internet - email, social media sites, websites and internet-based radio and television.
• Outdoor media - AR advertising, billboards, blimps, flying billboards and placards.
• Print media - they are books, comics, magazines, newspapers or pamphlets.
• Event organizing and public speaking are also considered firms of mass media. Movie studios, publishing companies, radio and television stations are also known as mass media.

Media becomes influential and successful when a particular groups of people like politicians, religious organizations, entertainers, government, elites and oligarchs and other dreamers who have the power and capacity to rule and command make them move and work through spending of millions to billions of money.

This is what I wanted to point out that our youths and young children, mga bayarang demonstrador at mga bayarang raliyista sila ay isa lamang sa mga elementong ginagamit at pinagsasamantalahan ang kanilang kawalang malay at kawalan sa buhay nitong mga mapagsamantalang politicians, religious organizations, mga elitista at mga mayayamang negosyante na handang magbayad para sirain ang isang tao o gobyerno.
