President Duterte's Political Enemies are Working Hard for His Down Fall

Because of failed assassination and prosecution of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the Liberal Party of women members have adapted a new way to put the country, its president and the Filipino people into a disgraceful situation. They sent off a petition to the organizers of Miss Universe Pageant asking for a reconsideration that the 2017 Miss Universe Pageant should not be held in Philippines.

The petitioners include prominent Liberal Party figures, such as Miss International 1970 title holder Aurora Pijuan, former Social Welfare Secretary Dinky Soliman, former Commission on Human Rights chairperson Etta Rosales, former presidential peace adviser Ging Deles, Black and White Movement convenor Leah Navarro, and prominent Fil-Am community leader Loida Nicholas Lewis.

The People Who Toppled Marcos in 1986 are The Same Group of People Calling to Oust Duterte

Thirty years ago, in February 1986, thousands of Filipino people lead by Cardinal Sin and the Military rebels gathered at EDSA to fight for peace, justice and democracy and proved the strength of “people’s power” by driving Marcos into exile. Nakamit ba talaga ng mga Filipino ang Katahimikan, Hustisya at Demokrasya? Taliwas ang nakita ko sa panahon ni former President Corazon Aquino – maraming patayang nangyari, walang hustisya ang mga biktima at untiunting naglaho ang demokrasya. Ang daming naghirap lalo. Dumami ang krimen, nabuhay ang narco-politics, naging talamak ang druga, naging malaking industriya ang illegal drugs sa bansa. Nagsulputan ang mga druglords, drugpushers at mga drugusers.

Ngayon naman, kung kailan ang Pilipinas has produced a president who has the balls at handang mamatay para lamang maging maayos ang bansa natin, many of his enemies ay gagawin ang lahat para siya ay mawala sa kanilang landas. Sila ang mga taong hindi kayang tanggapin ang inihalal ng mga tao. Sila ang grupo ng mga tao na naapektuhan ng labis nang simulan ni Pangulong Duterte ang giyera laban sa druga, giyera laban sa korapsyon at iba pang giyera laban sa iba’t ibang krimen sa bansa. Applying the same method: calling the masa para mag people power to oust President Duterte, sa palagay ko hindi na ito bibinta ang ganitong pamamaraan. Nagising na kasi ang mga Pinoy mula sa kasinungalingan at kamangmangan.
