Ang Presyo Ng Sigarilyo Nagtaas Bigla Pagpasok Ng January 1, 2017

For people who can afford to buy a pack of cigarette for a day's smoking-burning-trip - ang pagtaas sa presyo of cigarette is not really a problem for them. They can still enjoy the happiness from smoking without thinking about the price. But for those who cannot afford to buy for a pack of this stuff - they might think twice either to buy for a pack of cigarette or less it down to a couple of sticks and which ever they would choose, it is best for them.

I still remember, the last quarter of 2016, the following prices of cigarettes especially the menthol ones (Fortune & Mighty Menthol) that I usually smoke for a day's burning-trip of money, ang presyo nila ay magaan pa sa bulsa but on January 1, 2017, the prices have increased drastically. When I asked the owner of the sari-sari store why the price has drastically increased sagot niya "nagtaas ang market price". Kaya wala siyang choice but to sell them sa mataas na presyo.

Last October of 2016, the price of Fortune Menthol was only ph35 per pack, while the Mighty Menthol was only ph25 per pack which was equivalent to 20 sticks.

In November 2016, the price of Fortune Menthol has increased to ph45 per pack, while the Mighty Menthol also increased to ph35 per pack.

In December 2016, the price of Fortune Menthol has again  increased to ph50 per pack, while the Mighty Menthol has also increased to ph40 per pack.

Now the start of the New Year 2017, the price of Fortune Menthol has increased to ph60 per pack, while the price of Mighty Menthol has also increased to ph50 per pack. The price of per stick of Fortune Menthol is ph3, while the price per stick of Mighty Menthol is ph2.50.

Ang pagtaas ng presyo nitong commodity ay sinang-ayunan kaya ng taga price control? At ito kayang mga manufacturers sa nasabing sigarilyo ay nagbabayad kaya ng tamang buwis?
